陽明交大 視覺文化研究所誠摯邀請校內師生參與由國際知名設計史與時尚研究學者 Peter McNeil 特聘教授主講的系列專題演講與論壇。
Peter McNeil 現任教於雪梨科技大學(UTS)設計學院,為澳洲人文學院院士(FAHA),研究領域橫跨十八世紀至當代,涵蓋服飾史、時尚研究與視覺文化,擅長整合服裝、視覺與社會史等跨學科視角。研究之餘,他還積極參與策展與學界事務,曾擔任澳洲紐西蘭藝術學會會長(AAANZ),擔任數個學術期刊主編。

Peter McNeil Lecture Series 2026 ˙.+。˙.+。˙.+。˙.+。˙.+。˙.+。˙.+
The Institute of Visual Studies cordially invites faculty and students to a series of lectures and forums by Professor Peter McNeil, an internationally renowned scholar in design history and fashion studies.
Professor McNeil is a distinguished professor at the College of Design, University of Technology Sydney, and a Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities (FAHA). His research spans from the eighteenth century to the present, encompassing dress history, fashion studies, and visual culture, with a distinctive approach that integrates clothing, visual arts, and social history across disciplinary boundaries. His sustained engagement with fashion as both visual culture and social phenomenon has made a significant contribution to the field of dress and fashion history worldwide. Alongside his research, Professor McNeil is deeply engaged in curatorial practice and academic affairs. He is a former President of the Art Association of Australia and New Zealand (AAANZ) and has served as the editor for several prestigious academic journals
